Personal Property Auction Terms and Conditions This auction is conducted by United Country | Carolina Properties and Auctions (“Auctioneer”) on behalf of the Seller. By registering, bidding, or purchasing, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. AUCTION FORMAT This is an online-only auction. Bidding will begin and end at the advertised times. A soft close is in effect: any bid placed within the final 60 seconds extends bidding by 60 seconds. All bids are irrevocable and legally binding. BIDDER REGISTRATION Bidders must be 18 years or older and provide accurate information. Auctioneer reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke bidding privileges at its sole discretion. ITEM DESCRIPTION & AUTHENTICITY All items are described to the best of Auctioneer’s knowledge. Grading, condition, and authenticity opinions are not guarantees unless explicitly stated. Certificates or third-party grading (if present) are noted but not warranted by Auctioneer. CONDITION All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with all faults. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted. Buyers are responsible for reviewing descriptions and photos and conducting their own due diligence. BUYER’S PREMIUM A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to the final hammer price. CASH DISCOUNT A 5% reduction in the buyer’s premium will be applied for buyers who pay in cash and pick up their items in person within the designated pickup period (10 days from the close of the auction) PAYMENT TERMS Payment is due within 48 hours of auction close. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, wire transfer, or cash (for in-person pickup). Failure to pay may result in cancellation and resale. SHIPPING Shipping is offered through Shipping Saint. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, handling, packaging, and insurance costs. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. PICKUP Pickup times and location will be provided. Items not picked up within the designated window may be considered abandoned without refund. DEFAULT If Buyer fails to complete payment, Auctioneer may cancel the sale, retain any payments made, resell the item, and pursue legal remedies. CHARGEBACKS & FRAUD Buyer agrees not to initiate chargebacks. Any disputes must be handled directly with Auctioneer and auction company. Fraudulent activity will be prosecuted. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY While the Auctioneer will make a good faith effort to accurately describe all items to the best of his ability and provide a dependable platform to bid and buy, the Auctioneer shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to errors in description, Internet failure, or missed bids. TECHNOLOGY DISCLAIMER Auctioneer is not responsible for system errors or interruptions. Auctioneer reserves the right to extend or cancel the auction in the event of a software or Internet glitch or failure. Use max bid functionality to protect your bids. RESERVES & RIGHTS Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw items, reject bids, or cancel the auction at any time. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
